Every Thursday from 4 to 8 pm, the Tampa Museum of Art offers Art on the House where admission prices change to pay-as-you-will, and visitors choose whatever admission price they want to pay. Bring the family and celebrate 100 years of art in Tampa with exhibitions that emphasize ancient, modern, and contemporary art. Beginning at 4 pm every Thursday, walk up to the Welcome Desk and tell the Visitor Experience and Engagement Representatives the admission price you chose to pay for your visit to the museum. Any donation amount is welcome.

About the Class: Diamond Painting has really taken off in the last couple of years. âDiamond painting (also known as crystal art) is the process of applying tiny resin rhinestones (known as âdiamondsâ) to a pre-printed design, usually an adhesive board to create sparkling, vibrant and uplifting pieces of mosaic-style art.â With hundreds if not thousands of kits available you can create anything from Van Goghâs Starry Night to a custom piece made from your own photography. Many come already in a frame, allowing Diamond Artists to hang their work immediately. It has proven to be therapeutic, promoting mindfulness. Itâs a calm activity that allows the artist to relax and go at their own pace. Diamond art is fun to do either as a solo activity or with family and friends. Yoga instructor Debbie Palombo will guide you through a gentle, low-impact session that focuses on improving flexibility, building core strength, and encouraging a wide range of motion. Beginners and seasoned yoga students are encouraged to sign up. With direction from the instructor, you can decide how you want to modify each pose by choosing the limit and extent of each movement. All movements are adaptable to fit your needs. Chair yoga releases tension, loosens muscles, and reduces stress in the mind and body. It is also a great yoga practice for building strength and improving balance, mobility, and posture. Students are encouraged to wear loose, comfortable clothing and comfortable shoes. Bridge is the ultimate card game, with four players working in teams of two. It features strategy, teamwork, and fun. Whether you play casually with friends or seriously in a tournament, bridge is a great source of social enjoyment.  Additionally, people who play bridge are less depressed, sleep better, and have a lower risk for Alzheimerâs or dementia. Have you always wanted to play bridge but donât know where to start? Has it been years since you played? This beginner-friendly social bridge class is perfect for you! It is a great way to refresh your bridge skills, sharpen your game, or learn to play for the very first time.   Bridge is a trick-taking card game that uses a standard 52-card deck. It is played by four players in two competing partnership with partners sitting opposite of one another. It has thirteen tricks per deal, and the player who plays the highest-ranking card wins the trick. The goal of bridge is not to make the most tricks in a deal, but for partners to successfully estimate how many tricks their team can take.  Players use âbidsâ to communicate the contents of their hand to their partner.  The thirteen rounds of play in one bridge game help with short-term memory.  It also requires patience, communication skills, reasoning, and quick thinking.  Using these skills helps keep brains active and young. This class will lay the foundation of the game and teach students the basics they need to get started. Each class will feature hands-on learning with plenty of playing time to practice your skills. Students will learn the different types of opening bids, how to bid, how to respond to bids, defense strategy and more. This class is designed to familiarize students with the basics of bridge, to strengthen their confidence when playing the game, and to meet new people who play bridge! Faces of Power: Stories Behind Portraits on Greek and Roman CoinsAncient Greek and Roman coins preserve some of the most widespread portraits from antiquity, showing how rulers wanted to be seen by their people and how artistic styles changed over the centuries. As the main way ordinary people saw the faces of kings, emperors, and rulers, coins remain key evidence for understanding ancient propaganda, political symbols, and portrait styles. The relevance of this topic clear by the debate today about who should appear on modern currency, from Queen Elizabeth II to proposals for a coin showing a portrait of President Trump. Martin Executive Director of the American Numismatic Society (ANS). During her time at the ANS, the institution has grown into one of the world's leading numismatic institutions, with an outstanding team of researchers and staff. A Rhodes Scholar, she earned her D.Phil. in Classics from Oxford. A distinguished scholar and prolific author specializing in ancient Greek coinage, Wartenberg served as Curator of Greek Coins at the British Museum (1991–1998) before joining ANS. She has taught at Oxford University and Columbia University and lectured across Europe and the US. Her curatorial work includes numerous exhibitions, most recently "When Coinage was born." Treasures from Zhuyuetang Collection, which opened at the Casa de la Moneda in Madrid in 2025. Her current research projects involve a monograph on Persian coinage, the publication of Electrum Coins in the Hellenic National Museum in Athens, and the publication of the excavation coins of the Kerameikos in Athens (with Selene Psoma). Fodor has been a federal employee since 2006.  Prior to entry on duty with the FBI, SAC Fodor served as a Denver police officer and financial crimes investigator responsible for conducting fraud/money laundering investigations for a financial institution.  Upon graduation from the FBI Academy, SAC Fodor was assigned to the Washington Field Office Counterterrorism squad responsible for immediate international terrorism threats in the National Capital Region.  While at the Washington Field Office, SAC Fodor was selected to participate in a joint duty assignment with the Guantanamo Bay Prosecution Task Force where he worked alongside Department of Defense criminal investigators and prosecutors to develop criminal cases against those responsible for the 9/11 attacks. Every Thursday from 4 to 8 pm, the Tampa Museum of Art offers Art on the House where admission prices change to pay-as-you-will, and visitors choose whatever admission price they want to pay. Bring the family and celebrate 100 years of art in Tampa with exhibitions that emphasize ancient, modern, and contemporary art. Beginning at 4 pm every Thursday, walk up to the Welcome Desk and tell the Visitor Experience and Engagement Representatives the admission price you chose to pay for your visit to the museum. Any donation amount is welcome.
